My brother and I started this company with the intent on creating a book stand that is reader friendly. We noticed that all the book stands on the market were a complete pain to use. So as engineers we decided to invent a book stand that will solve that problem. That is when we came up with our patent pending design. Along the way we decided we didn't want to stop there, but go on to make the most beautiful affordable book stand yet.

So far it has been a crazy experience. We have been blown away considering how much time it takes to start a company. To keep the costs low we have been doing almost all of the work. For around a year we both would come home from our day jobs and go straight to work on Son Joy. Almost all of our Saturdays have been completely dedicated to honing our craft and furthering our company.  This is why we are so thankful for all of our customers and all who take the time to learn more about our company.
